We went out to the beach the day after Thanksgiving. It was my first time out there since Ivan. Everything has changed dramatically… we weren’t even allowed out to Fort Pickens which has become a seperate island. Well really we weren’t allowed past the uber touristy section. You can see the end of the pier has some damage.
The beach is still georgeous though… almost as if it were saying “I’m here no matter what… they real damage is to the things you silly humans added”
